AREAS OF INTEREST/SPECIALTY

Working in New York City has afforded me the opportunity to work with a truly diverse range of clients, treating a wide variety of problems. Some areas of particular interest to me include:
  • Relationship conflicts/infidelity
  • Anxiety and panic
  • Grief and loss
  • Navigating life transitions (graduation, new job, moving)
  • LGBTQ-related issues
  • Emotional effects of physical illness
  • Depression
  • Recovery from trauma

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE

I stress the importance of work-life balance with my clients and I'm thoughtful about practicing what I preach. In my free time I can usually be found engaging in one or more of the following:
  • Reading (contemporary fiction, the New York Times, a variety of blogs)
  • Physical fitness (avid tennis player and spinner)
  • Travel (17 countries and counting)
  • Music (from pop to indie to classical and lots in between)
